Patches Pals

Attention all you Patches Pals out there!

Tune your radios for AM 1090 tonight at 7:00p and hear JP, I mean Chris Wedes, play the crotchety Mr. Potter in a special Holiday Broadcast of The Seattle Radio Theater Groups production of "It's A Wonderful Life".

Last week Penny and I attended the live performance of the show which stars Pat Cashman as George Bailey and Chris Wedes (better known as Julius Peirpont Patches) as old man Potter. Chris is a rare breed of all-around entertainer, actor and comedian who convincingly makes the theatrical leap from witty clown to the ill-tempered Potter. The performance is being re-broadcast at 7:00p tonight in the Seattle area on AM 1090. You can also see and hear the performance on the AM 1090 web site: http://www.am1090seattle.com/pages/218296.php

Remember, it’s better to be a Patches Pal than a Boris Buddy!

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone.

JIngle Bell Run

This was our first!! We all ran in the Jingle Bell Run.
It was great. The 5K course was real nice. We started at Westlake Mall, ran down 5th Ave, turned and went down the express lanes of I5 and back to the Mall. Everyone was very festive, dressed to celebrate the holiday season. Highly recommend it for the family or individual that wants a fun run.
Happy Holiday

Christmas Spectacular Rockettes

THE ROCKETTES ARE IN TOWN!!
The High Kicking Christmas Rockettes Show starts today in Seattle at the Paramount.
Ask me about the $10 off coupon. December 12-January 3.

Yesterday, I went to the Annual SCVB Holiday Breakfast where the Rockettes gave an outstanding performance. A cast and crew of nearly 100 people return to Seattle to deliver a holiday show experience like never before. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is sure to give audiences holiday memories to last a lifetime. Children of all ages will be enchanted by live holiday entertainment as teddy bears dance, wooden soldiers come to life, reindeer fly, Santa and his elves prepare for their biggest night of the year and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and eye-high kicks.
This is Kristina and I, her parents stayed at our Bed and Breakfast last time the Rockettes where in Seattle.
Isn't she just beautiful!
Happy Holidays

Christmas Ships at Three Tree Point

Christmas at Three Tree Point

The first Saturday of December, we gather at the Beach with Friends and Family for The Three Tree Point Tradition. The Christmas ships sail by all decorated and with music playing. The neighbors bring their cheer, light the Christmas Tree and stand around the bon fire. A wonderful place to bring in the Holidays!! Picture taken by Jana Kleitsch
